LASER PIPELINE INSPECTION

“Informative pipeline assessment and detailed reporting including remaining service life was useful to make informed resource allocation decisions for efficient maintenance of our pipeline system.”

- Michael Garza, Assistant Director of Public Works, City of Coppell Texas

There are several pipeline inspection products that include video robots for Closed Caption TV but only Matt Childs Engineering and its partnership with The Texas Concrete Pipe Association and The University of Texas at Arlington’s Center for Structural Engineering Research/Simulation can deliver the most advanced technology in Pipeline Inspection. We perform a robotic inspection and provide a proprietary report that includes an analysis of overall system health as well as providing the expected service life for all buried infrastructure.

ASSET MANAGEMENT

With the data available, the Doctoral Staff of the UTA Civil Engineering Department will provide the Remaining Service Life available throughout the pipeline. The pipeline study identifies the areas of concern in the buried pipeline with precise locations of what needs to be repaired or replaced. This study of your pipelines allows you to develop the most efficient stormwater replacement and repair budget and is the best tool for precise asset management.
